How very nice to be Mr. Average
Not too low, and not too high.
Never brimming over with intellect
Just a normal kind of guy with
knowledge enough to 'see him by',
Bothering not about his 'IQ'
Intelligence quotient was Binet's problem.
Binet was one of the brilliant few
A man with an inquisitive eye
Who devised a test for children and adults
And our Mr. Average still wonders why.
