You can never trust people for what you see of them

Or what you see in them

Or what you hear of them

Or even what you know of them.

You have to rely on none of them

And that's how you are saved from them.

To believe too much in them

Is to give yourself to them.

You cannot go by what they say of them

Or what others say of them

Or what you think of them

Or how much you trust them,

And how much you trust in them.

The minute you turn yourself over to them

Is the minute you become just like them.
