No Longer Alone Poem by Sam Bowen

No Longer Alone

All my life I have felt alone
But now at fourteen
I now know
I have people here who care for me
The only problem is
They can’t make any of this better
But atleast I have them
I don’t deserve them as my friends
They are so sweet and nice
I really don’t deserve them
I wish I could die
And make their lives
So much better

I feel the same way about my friends. Most of them have terrible lives. You know what's funny? You remind me of my friend. He's fourteen, too. He's not a writer, but if he was he would write like you. I'm not really friends with him anymore, and he did some terrible things to me, but you know what? I would still make his life better if I had that option... by dying or even just switching lives with him. Thanks for making me realize that.
