No Matter How Hard I Try Poem by serena dalton

No Matter How Hard I Try

I tried so hard to please you
i don't know what else you want me to do
i'm only fifteen
i'm sorry i can't do everything.

That message wasn't my fault.
I don't understand why i get blamed?
I'm sorry you think i've caused a problem,
but really mom?

I feel so unclaimed,
are you that ashamed?

I'm a flower without a stem,
you've cut it. down.

I've tried my whole life to keep calm,
but one of these days i'm gonna snap,
not gonna be able to take it anymore,
i'm just a ticking time bomb.
