Nom De Plume Poem by kwane Lamb

Nom De Plume

I want you to consume my essence …
So I may lose myself in your…
Consumption of my whole being…

I want to be dry land…
And you my first rain fall…
Fill me…wet me into health…

Let my dew be from my fill of your moisture…
Covering every inch of me…
Let the sun see my steam as…

It hovers over my liquefied…Boundaries…
Places you've claimed…
And watered…

Let your body shade and soothe me…
Let us be as a sonnet…
A union of a fixed rhythm pattern…

Entwined, earth and sky…
You and I…
Seed to seed…
We both take heed…

We are all we need…
Sweetness…
