Non-Flammable Is He Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Non-Flammable Is He

Meet a man with strength of will
With a mind of his very own,
No sweet charmer could ever alter
The bachelorhood he has known.
So female flattery he ignores
Emotion could change his mind.
Still non-flammable is he
Teenage dreams are left behind.

A man of high reputation
Correctness he always will condone.
Living quite close to a partner
The seed of friendship sewn.
Overcoming all temptation
He dwells on happiness mile
And still non-flammable is he
Travelling the highway in style.
