Chic North Shore ladies
bedecked in mink
diamonds dangling
from delicate earlobes
dressed in au courant fashions
from crown to dainty feet
shod in exquisite style
Like queens scornful of plebes
they descend gilded staircases
escorted by deferential help
to limos idling in driveways
that circle round palatial grounds
to dusappear majestically into the night!
O! how we envy their royal estate!
