Nostalgia
Being away
Makes the heart grow fonder,
Thirsty for the ups and downs
Of familial life…
The cry of a baby,
Sibling rivalry,
The aroma of monotonous meals,
The barkings of the dog,
The clatter of cutlery,
The occasional rebuke from a parent,
The silly pranks played by a brother,
The distinct scent of the home,
The laughter of loved ones,
The loves of one's life,
Home, the love of my life
