Not Love Poem by patch work

Not Love

Don't pretend you know me
you haven't the faintest clue.
Where were you when I suffer
with pain, fear and the blues?
You spew words of indifference
you claim them to be wisdom,
but I hear only criticism and cynicism
without love or pure vision.
I loathe you for allowing this
when you had some control,
don't waste anymore of your thoughts on me
for you my heart has grown cold! !
