Nothing Poem by Ann McKinley

Nothing

Rating: 5.0

I wish I felt nothing
I wish your words meant nothing
meant nothing to me when you spoke
I wish that they didn't feel like daggers deep in my skin right now
I wish I didn't have to take anything in
I wish I could do nothing
I wish I cared for nothing
But that is not who I am

Very well written poem, my favorite line, which says a lot: But that is not who I am
