Nothing Changes Poem by Prince ....

Nothing ever changes,
things are always the same,
as time slowly passes,
my life slowly drains,

promises are made,
and easily fall apart,
i still see no light,
i'm still standing in the dark,

time passes more and more,
my life slowly drifting past,
i stand and watch it go,
wait for the day that is my last,

because nothing ever changes,
things just stay the same,
and i dont have the strength in me,
to keep on playing this game.
