Nowhere Poem by Waseem Sherif

Nowhere

Blackness shrinks around me
It distorts perception of time
too fast and too slow
everything's a blur when I stare

I cry I shout and I scream
So loud yet so silent in my head
This paradoxically (n) everlasting
moment is rendering me bare

with only tears on my face
some are abiding by gravity
some are defying its reign
I'm just there and not there

Every notion is chaos
Uncertainty governs this realm
Even the air is sucked away
Such is the world I cannot bear

Existing within a void
Of the void of my existence
Emptiness so deep
My being can only be Nowhere
