Nowhere To Go Poem by ChiMark Sunlight Ndubuisih

Nowhere To Go

There's nowhere to go from
here under the trove of the earth
We have a home a place of our
birth where birthed heroes gone
That fought and won golds for
freedom,
We never dreamt,
Ever shall come unto past
This home was called a name;
Nigerian
Then came our birth to keep this
strive,
the selfless sacrifice sacred
Flowing from the stream of our bonded blood inherent
O! the home is met chaos,
Self torrents; and diverse sunami
Hunger is a dancer in the gull of
our bloating bellies
The vomit of our own blood
There on the street,
In our original locality the dropping rain
Mother and father drink quenching
peace
Staring the gongs for own war
Ah! nowhere to go from here
There to go from nowhere
Here is our home,
The country that lives in US
You leave to nowhere
Stay-put you die unknown to Heaven
I bet someone is watching the cows
crownd kings!
The airs of the home
Servants eating from the parker
All this an evil done unto God
And praise unto men
I judged none
Crooked sinner I'm for before Him
Truth only be said.
