Numb Days Poem by Rijad Islamovic

Numb Days

Again I lay so pointlessly
Shouldn't you be filling the emptiness
That suffocates my inner self
This doesn't make any sense at all

I just have to ruin everything
But you seem to know how to handle me
You give me time to make it back
Back into the world I don't belong
No, I don't belong
In that perfect world
So warm

All the laughs we spent
All the madness and
The days we were numb
Not thinking about a thing
Almost opened my heart
And let my feelings depart
But I'm to hard on myself
I don't want to let them out
