Nurtured Rose Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Nurtured Rose

Forty words:

The thorns of his Irish rose

are harmless ~ causing no tear.

And with onset of beautiful June

when flowers of Tralee are in bloom

worries disappear.

For he secretly knows his faithful rose

will remain 'his alone' through the years.
