A ray of light in a day of storm,
In times of cold you keep me warm,
You lift me up when I am down,
And make me happy when I wear a frown.
I cannot see life without you,
you give my world a new point of view.
My heart is yours to have and take,
It is a gift I hope you will never break.
In the future I see us as one,
In times of despair we'll make each other strong,
In the desert of life you, ll be my river,
there's is nothing we can't do as long as we have each other
