O Beautiful Maiden Poem by Omjoy Halder

O Beautiful Maiden

Rating: 4.5

My Words may fail
To do justice to thy beauty,
Yet i mus eulogize and hail
The epitome of charm and serenity.

Thy beautiful dark eyes,
That cast a spell of charm
Beseak you look so nice
That my amorous heart becomes infirm.

I once mistook it as a face of Devi,
Done only by the dexterity of an artist.
Your enticing red lips would make my heart heavy
If they leave that of mine unkissed.

This round-faced beautiful maiden,
who would not like to love!
Beholding her dispels all pain,
And joy falls like petals from above.
