O warm rivers of dreamy eyes!
Just hold on till the morn
Let the sun of hopes again rise
Till then tarry, don't mourn

Compulsions of writhing heart
Expressions of faded face
Let thy furious fate too impart
Sheer defeats in life's race

When almost all dams are broken
In holding thy mighty streams
When most rudely thou are spoken
'No victory for thee' there seems

Just let the flood once come in full might
But the dawn can't be held by any night
