Ocean Of Tears Poem by Ron Pate

 As your eyes burn, from a fire deep within, sadness overwhelms your soul and refuses to let forgiveness in, and a Ocean of tears washes away your resistance, so you may try once again. 

 Crashing against the jagged rocks of Life's shore, receding momentarily and then returning, until the hands of time moves healing your soul.

  Lost in a vast ocean, helpless; a heart with no oars, only tears rolling down.

   Resolve is blurred by uncertainty, a lighthouse beacon from a distant shore, shows you the way.  Guiding your heart to solid ground once more.

  Just as the sun breaks the nothingness, the ocean of tears subsides, when forgiveness begins.
