October Night Poem by Tess Rockenstire

October Night

Luminous eyes from a distant place,
Oh! Ominous moonlight, ‘tis heart
Burning with fire,
I wrap myself, this cold October night.
Morning frost, cold feet, blinding sunrise,
Birds whisper, and kissed the frozen ground.
Let the new day bring light aground,
Before dusk of omen –
Bring darkness, on a coldest night.
