Ode To A Pagan Goddess Poem by Thyris Taylor

Ode To A Pagan Goddess

We worship your nature to extend life to the faithful.
You with the power, our Goddess of the fountain.
Would you grant an audience to the old souls,
so we can request that which only you can fulfill.

We are humbled by your use of kind energy, to
grant that which is thought to be lost forever.
As life slips away, we find the need of a boon!
You give to us, from the magic fountain that is you.

Oh lovely and humane Goddess of purity and might.
let us suckle at the fountain that extends life.
Help us to rekindle from the ravages of time.
Welcome us again, oh Goddess, to thy strong bosom.

You who are Goddess conjure the power that is you,
grant us time in your replenishing, cleansing orbit.
We hold you in high esteem with strong sturdy arms.
All will sacrafice to stay in thy devine good graces.
