Ode To Evie
You who were never given
a chance
to see the light of day
to move along Life's way
hopes joys untold
cries fears on hold
smiles tears halted
thwarted
aborted
Crystallized in Time
Wrenched from Tomorrow's grasp.
You who are now free
to sing the songs of the wind
to dance on golden sunbeams
to sit on my shoulder
an Angel unseen.
