Ode To St. Michael's College Poem by Edgar Eslit

Ode To St. Michael's College

O St. Michael's College, how we cherish thee,
A beacon of knowledge, shining bright and free,
With Mother Ignacia's guidance from above,
And St. Michael the Archangel's steadfast love.

In Mindanao's land, where tri-people people unite,
Your halls stand tall, with wisdom and might,
Teaching us to be fair, to love and to give,
And to lead with the heart, so all may live.

Through the years, you've produced great minds,
Guiding them towards success, in various kinds,
With your dedication to culture and arts,
And your embrace of technology's finest parts.

From the hills of Iligan to the world beyond,
Your graduates shine, with talents so fond,
Leading with integrity, compassion, and grace,
Serving humanity, in every time and space.

Your faculty and staff, with passion and zeal,
Nurture the students, with hearts that feel,
Instilling the values, that make us true,
With excellence as our goal, in all that we do.

Your walls bear witness, to the stories of old,
Of triumphs and struggles, and the joys untold,
Of the friendships and bonds, that we have made,
Of the memories cherished, that will never fade.

With your sports and clubs, and extracurricular ways,
You mold us to be well-rounded, in all of life's phases,
With leadership and teamwork, and a spirit of fun,
We learn to embrace, challenges, one by one.

In your halls of learning, we find our voice,
Our dreams and aspirations, take a solid choice,
With your support and encouragement, we thrive,
And become the best version, of ourselves, alive.

So here's to thee, our beloved alma mater,
May you continue to shine, brighter and greater,
With your loving embrace, in every heart and soul,
We will carry on your legacy, and reach every goal.
