Of Darkness
A monstrous hand
Surrounds the Earth
Encompassing all
With thunderous force
The energy flows
Tainted and dark
Infecting the planet
The truth is stark
Corrupt and mad
The future is bleak
And mass delirium
Is at its peak
Yet you must retain
A glimmer of hope
And continue to battle
Up the slippery slope
And through your persistence
Your brilliance will shine
And the dark shall notice
And be killed by the light

Well written my freind. A very unique rhyme scheme with the first and last verses not rhyming but the middle three flowing and rhyming nicely. From the reading standpoing the fact that the last verse does not rhyme cancels the flow that was created in the previous three verses. Other that that a very vivid and beautiful work.
