The piano plays something
Melancholy yet beautiful
And I think of you in such a way
Sadly beautiful what a phrase
It could be on T Shirts
And other merchandise
How you make me feel
How music touches the soul
And here we are
Amongst it all playing our roles
Writing slogans for T Shirts
Finding thoughts for sale
What a life we could share
Copywrite permitting
The piano music plays on
Into the evening
