Oh Future! Poem by Kporho Vwede Daniel

Oh Future!

OH FUTURE!

When I go to sleep
Thinking of my debit slip
For you I keep a side of my bed
Even when things between us show red

Still wait
Papa say he one sell he car

When I sleep at night
My unforgettable drive still light
I still wet my pillow
Do you only follow rich row?

Still wait
Mama don sell some of her wrapper

Use my pen to tickle your part
Moaning silently like bat
Hustle for your sake
One day we shall make

Still wait
No need to do illegal

Sleeping by my books
Praying by my pillows
Success is not only for the rich
Those silent craming nights

Still wait
E go soon pay
