Oh Mother Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Oh Mother

Oh mother

Slept late and still
I who wakes early
Feel needing more sleep.

This must be nature of
My age and my being
And living in this time
And in sea amassed in
The womb of a monster
Where I call 'Hell…city…'

This shit-hole limits me
In seeing and writing
No view of nature

Oh mother!
Oh mother!
Oh mother!

Instead sympathise
With the poor and burden
Imposed by one percent.

Who am I to talk of Washington, USA?

But have to; am concerned
They make rule and enforce
Their mess on rest of world,
In days they sympathise
Stay back, use the mouth
Of Barack Obama!
Then reverse; shoot arrow
At its head Donald Trump!

That nation is but fool
In cage of Media
Fox-News, CNN
Worst yet, the
Hollywood!
Oh mother!
Oh mother!
Oh mother!
