Oh What A Shame Poem by Alfred Ramos

Oh What A Shame

He fell asleep and never woke up

Was he the boy in class who never spoke up?

Oh what a shame

Oh what a mindless game

Oh what a crime

And he can't do the time

Never to know the grace of emotion

Never to know the grace of devotion

Such a tragedy by all accounts

The dark steed he now mounts

Everything turned black because of sadness

Never to see the light of gladness

Oh what a shame

But who's to blame

Not knowing what a terrible mistake this is

When life passes us in a whiz

Not able to take it all back

Now everyone is wearing black

What a tragedy

It certainly must be

Such a shame to leave questions without an answer

No solutions around the corner for the midnight dancer

Calls unreturned and lives never to touch

The wind will blow his dust a little too much

Such a crime to be so stupid and dumb

Did no one notice his nerves tight as a drum?

Oh what a crime

Ain't worth a dime

Did he know his whole life was about to begin

Instead he chose to start at the end

Didn't he know this isn't right by any accounts?

Now he rides into the sunset in the dark steed that he mounts

Oh what a tragedy

It certainly was and always will be
