Oh Yes Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Oh Yes

Rating: 5.0

Oh yes

Jam e Jam
(The magic crystal
Of the old Persia)
Might have been
Could be seen
As is said of the lamp
That had it Aladdin…

Yes or no is question
And better be question.

Let us think
Think magic

Let us think and dream
Very much factiously.

What about the truth?
And science?
(Which to me are the things
Related to the time
As well as men being
In commerce, politics.)

Hell, with it!
Hell, with it!
Hell, with it!

Love to be crazy, proudly
A homeless on the roads
On old paths to the caves
And on waves to deserts.

Want to be a child that
Sits alone and dreams
And fears the devils,
Sees angels flying
With white wings!

Though not child, anymore
In this age act as one…
Both of us see distance
He looks in future;
My bag is rich with past!

Wish I could have skies
To use them as canvas
And the seas and oceans
As my ink and the paint
With forests, brush, pens!

Am afraid and suspect:
They may not be enough!

Having had travelled
To visit the nations
And to live among them
In cities, villages
And deserts and mountains,
To floating islands,
I may be an expert
With a lot to be said…

Always was like sponge,
Too thirsty, and absorbed;
Heard them well and observed
Their many shades, colours…

Can ever Jam-e-jam
Be narrowed to a land?

No, no, no, no never
It was gift to the shah
And men of the science
And learned and conscious
That kept it in their hands
To foresee thanks to past
The things that might happen
In the days laid ahead…

Oh, I have lot to say
From my travels
And living among the
Small and large nations…
