Old Age Poem by Len Webster

Old Age

Rating: 4.0

Old age is

When the winter is never-ending
And bones groan through
flesh too solid to shiver

When summer, so late in coming,
Has turned hope and expectation
sour

When spring and autumn are lost,
Banished to the rubbish bin
of past delight.
