Old Faithful Poem by Janis Land Raymer

Old Faithful

It has always been there
Alone, unnoticed
Taken for granted-
It would never leave
stained from too many
spills
Scarred by constant
abuse
But...
when it's needed-
it's called upon
and expected to fulfill
it's duty
submitting to its
calling...for which
it was created-
never to be thanked
or appreciated
Lonely and misunderstood...
once again.
