Old Year Waves Farewell

Rating: 5.0

O-ld year waves farewell,
R-eaching its last starlight;
L-et December thirty-first
A-im to say good
N-ight.

L-et old year wave farewell,
A-s new one is around the corner;
C-herish the fresh welcome,
B-eginning twenty-second of December.
A-llow not January first to turn
I-nto an early morning chill;
N-ever forget the past lessons, as old year waves farewell.

What a positive write. It instills in our minds that as we embrace the incoming year we should not forget the lessons we made in the past. A very insightful piece.10
