On Bathurst Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

On Bathurst

On Bathurst

And again on Bathurst
Most people have same faith
(As is seen, appears)
But they are divided
Look at men and their wear
Mainly heads and their shirts
And much else…

Saw again penguins
Black coats, trousers
Pure white underneath
The hats round also rims.

I dive in history
Past to past to Moses
See the calf at mountain
He went get commandments
Shepherd gone they made a cow
With it I dive to take more chances
Think of times when reading the Bible
Read it all in detail; and recall every word

Then think of righteous ‘race'
Can hear the word ‘race'.
Then follow racism
To racist of today.

Thought of verse
Thought of race
Fill my mind:
'We are right! '
Am I not a poet?

Thought of race
Racism and racist
Shock, lava, volcano
Naked is paradise
Adam gone come the two
Abraham and Sarah
See Pharaoh complain:
'Were married and hid it? '
