वन प्रवेश....! On Entering Fifty One....
वन प्रवेश....!
कल तो मानों ज़िंदगी शुरू हुई थी,
कब पचास पार कर गए, पता ही न चला।
कल तक तो पढ़ाई में मशरूफ़ थे,
कब नौकरी में खो गए, पता ही न चला।
कल तक माँ से गिला किया करते थे,
कब बीवी के हो गए, पता ही न चला।
कल तक बच्चों की तरह खेला करते थे
कब बच्चे बड़े हो गए, पता ही न चला।
कल बापू के सफ़ेद बाल गिना करते थे
कब बाल झड़ने लगे, पता ही न चला।
कल ज़िंदगी के हसीं सपने देखा करते थे
कब ज़िंदगी उलझ गई, पता ही न चला।
कल जो औरों को खुशीकेपाठ पढ़ाते थे
कब हसना भूल गए, पता ही न चला।

Another gem after your Praayashchit. Loved to read it and enjoy, to may personal list.
How life journey is going on has been astutely inscribed here incisively. Though this poem is written in favor of your younger brother's fifty first birthday yet it refers to general entity. The inscription is so touching. Let me cite some lines....कल ज़िंदगी के हसीं सपने देखा करते थे कब ज़िंदगी उलझ गई, पता ही न चला। कल जो औरों को खुशीकेपाठ पढ़ाते थे कब हसना भूल गए, पता ही न चला। thanks for sharing.10
