After years of friendship,
and from words of another,
they decided that they no longer,
wanted to be a friend.
They even went as far as to accuse,
for things that were never done.
Now the tables have turned,
and the one with the words
has turned against them.
So they came back to see their old friend.
Unfortunately they cannot repair what they had done.
They don’t understand the hurt
they cause with their betrayal.
Now they want to come back,
not realising it will never be the same.
They can be forgiven for their blindness,
but trust they can never reclaim.
They will remain on the outside
forever looking in.
Once stabbed in the back, twice shy... That they try to come back is the final insult... Nother hurts than a friends betrayal...10
Something like that can never be repaired. It takes a lot of trust to build up a true friendship and when people then turn their backs on you, there is no retrieving that trust. You have a whole load of new friends now, people who are behind you every inch of the way. And really, that's how it goes in life. A heartfelt message here, David. Love, Fran xxx

As Andrew has stated one can only take so many stabs in the back before they give up or walk away...For the 'stabber' one must hope that they are just so unhappy with themselves that they don't know the hurt and pain they cause another. It's life and it happens everyday, everywhere, over and over and for the most part not many are exempt at least a few times in their lifetime. This is a must read and an excellent write....Hope you're healing rapidly, you have many who want the best for you here...love, marci.xo
