O! Gandhiji, we established your statue
With the faith that people will ever remember
To fulfill your dream, follow the path
Your statue witnessed Summers, rains, scenes
Women selling, child labouring, laws broken
Procession of undressed woman, brides burnt
Corrupt officers openly practicing on road
Bullets fired on the poor and innocent
Your eyes moist, you may have wept but lonely
Yet you stand on the Square; are you going to refuse?
