Once Upon A Planet Poem by Bullion Grey

Once Upon A Planet

Once upon a planet, clustered on a world.
Set amidst a universe, in a timeless journey hearld.
Millions to millions of spirits, hurt and confused souls,
begging for lifes answers, looking for real goals.
Racing here or going there, across this vast great earth,
searching for the answer from the question of their birth.
From the richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor,
from the cradle to the grave, always needing wanting more.
Whether they be crippled, whether they be strong,
always grasping, always missing, always looking for what they long.
Some look to the future, others study the past,
searching for clues & answers what does and does not last.
Some are born leaders, others born to trail,
others are born winners, still others born to fail.
They're betting on some chance, or wishing on some star,
others carefully looking for what we really are.
Some live with others, others live with none,
but night and day the thought is pushing,
what will eventually be the sum?
