You were once mine
And I was once yours
You were once special to me
A precious gift from the Lord
Like an angel I cherished you, and
No one compared to you
You were my everything
And my dream come true

We had a strong spiritual connection
Everyone envied us
We were a role model for many
A perfect example of true love
An ever happy couple

Our love was unbreakable
And our connection was immovable
I never did anything without you
You were my best friend and lover
You were always faithful to me
You were always supportive,
And you were always by my side in happiness and in sorrow
When I cried, you cried with me
When I laughed, you laughed with me
I never felt lonely because you were always there

Like an angel, you just appeared from nowhere
Brought happiness and joy to my life
And like an angel, you just left me
Leaving unbearable sorrow, loneliness and sadness
