Once Upon A Time Poem by Raymond Farrell

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
There were seven sheep
Grazing in a field
One found an opening
In the fence
And went through it
A mathematician was consulted
To determine
How many sheep were left
In the field
He concluded
Without doubt
There would be six sheep left
A sheep farmer
Was consulted in regards the matter
And he concluded
There would be no sheep left
Each knew their business well
The mathematician knew
How to subtract
But the sheep farmer
Turned out to be correct
Because he knew more about sheep.
