Once Upon A Time Poem by Patricia Gale

Once Upon A Time

Rating: 5.0

The past calls out
Memories cry silent in the night
The minds clear, hearing with out doubt
Who is wrong or who is right

Love misplaced
Forgotten by the way
No mercy, No forgiven grace
Moment by moment, day by day

Regret for past times
The heart yearns for what was
Love that once was so sublime
Stubborn pride now bears the cause

Love is mighty
Sometimes filled with pride
Love still lingers
Even through the pain
