Acting
So flashy
In the society
Modern mother
Behaving
Dissimilar
At home
Up roaring
And shouting
At the kid
So brutal
Her dos
And don’ts
Terrifying
The child
In insecurity
Making-
A hue and cry
All through
Unheeding
Its weeping
And cries
How
Helpless
Suffers
Feeling
Deprived.

Consequent
Upon
Bearing out
Fatal
Upon its health
And mind
Owing
To the little
Knowledge
Or narrowness
Of her vision
In the name of
Up-to-the-minute
That she deems
In making of it
During
The formative
Years
Of its life.

Thus, making
Of it a pigheaded
Obdurate
Crushing
Its emotions
So delicate
Making
Feel so heavy
That it tears
In torrents
Spoiling
The whole
Atmosphere
Of love
And peace
Development
And growth.

Every
Sane person
Senses
So much so
Concerned
With the affairs
Though
Can’t help
Yet-
Worries about
Feeling
Fed up
And miserable
Therefore –
Modern mother!
Take notice
Thereof.

At such a point
Point of time
A flood
Of emotions
That flows
Of what to do
Or where to go?
Besides
Everything
Available
There to plough!
