One Thing Remains Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

One Thing Remains

One thing remains, that your love still lingers in the air that I breath.
Why can't I move on from this, sill you have me in your shakels.

You won't let me free, I need the air so I can breath.
Listen to me, why can't you set me free...I can feel your hate.
It is burning inside of you, now I know it will not burn out.

Maybe your candle will burn out, one of these days.
Until then, would you set me free...let yourself release the pain.

I can feel my pain too, still I can feel the same as you.
One thing remains, that your love will carry us through the sands of time.
I feel the same as you, still we have something in common.

As our tears, will fall like rain...just know we are here for each other and that is
what matters the most.

As we live through these times, we will always be with each other.
Just know that I will always be here with you.
