Only If I Could Poem by Hakima Smaali

I can't change the world
but at least I can state what I think in few words
this life is way too hard and its heart is too cold
nothing is faire about it
and nothing works the way it should
i just want to change it all, only if I could

I'm nothing but a teen
but you can't imagin what I've been throught and what I've seen
I'm done setting in the dark hearing the loud screams
it hurts so bad,, just setting here
thinking about my good life when others live in constent fear
whene kids go to sleep evry night covering their ears
so they wouldn't hear the screams
it hurts so bad that I don't think it's gonna heal
it's too owfal the way it feels
why should I live at ease
when people every winter die of freez
why should I live and taste the glory
when half of the words lives in misery
life is not fair, not now, not today, not tomorrow, not in day of our history

life for few is nothing but a game
and for some is a bet
few live at ease and some can't even pay their debt
few taste luxury and they're the worst
some live in misery without complining and they're the best
few think that they won't die, that they owne the world
while others believe that they're only guests
they think that life is nothing but a test

I can't stand this silence
not anymore
we have to make this world balance
we have to offer the others more chanes, open theme more doors

this world is not fair
no one helps or looks around
no one say or do anything, no one cares
we all hear the screams at night,
but a lot ignore that sound
we all walk down the street so proud
but we don't pay attnetion for the homless one in the croud

they think they're the center of the world
and pushes away the ones by the side
we can't just stay put and act blined
we have to change the world
and I wish if I only could
