Only You Poem by Rosa Williams

Only You

When I think of you my eyes turn moonlight blue
You can see them sparkle as bright as the stars
Like you, they light up a room
When ever we're together you seem to fill this hole in my heart
Then I start to think about soon I'll have to leave
And when will you spend another day with me
Little by little it breaks back apart
And then the feeling of loneliness returns
But here you come again to save the day in my little world
Holding me in your arms
Making me feel all warm and funny inside
Looking up to see you smiling
Thinking to myself: 'You would never be mine'
You are like a rare diamond
Hard to find
