Orange Poem by Daniel Brown

Orange

What makes a clock work?
The ticking of the hands,
Moving of the time,
Forward, never backward,
No possibility to rewind,
Wishing as we may,
Hoping undefined...
Regret, shame, toxicity,
Stamped and carved in the cogs and gears,
Never lost, just left behind
