Our Candle Melts Away Poem by Gloraly Gomez

Our Candle Melts Away

</>Our candle melts away
With wax so full of lies
The old flame killed today
No longer guides our eyes
Our candle melts away
Each second makes it small
The old flame won't display
Those shadows on the wall
Our candle melts away
And takes along our spark
The old flame gone today
Has turned both our souls dark...

Although this is a sad refrain I enjoyed reading it as it was well written. I liked how you used a candle to describe a failing relationship here in this poem. Great job! Ravensong
