It wasn’t my fate
To think about the heavens of life
Neither it was my day
To be with someone in the heavens
That was yet another day when,
Someone wanted me to marry him
And that was a different world
Where I too wanted to live
Holding hands we walked along
Living together, dreaming together
Like fresh dew drops, the mornings unspun
With songs unheard, that birds had sung
Sudden splatter of colours filled my palette
I wondered where have I landed
From the distance, I turned around
Only to see the heavens spread all around
While I say this is my heaven
I thank the hand which holds that of mine
It is for him that I am in the shine
And only for him I always affine
