Our Same World Poem by Caitlyn Williams

Our Same World

Rating: 4.0

You look at me. Bewildered, confused maybe. Maybe forgiveness is something you lack, I, with my naiveness, cannot simply fathom the war you've fought ever since the day you were born, and yet, somewhere deep inside, behind all the stress and the rage, you look upon me with deep and sorrowful longing. I want to understand who you truly are........what you truly are. Unfortunately you have chains constricted around your heart, and locked with a key. You allow no one inside. Oh........how much i long to be inside. I want to show you how great life can be, but you shut me out as if i were somebody else. Sharing my world with you, is a never-ending dream that i patiently wait for to come true.
