Out In The Cold Poem by Qiniso Mogale

Out In The Cold

Rating: 5.0

Conceived from parents who were
only interested in pleasure not responsibility
Born from parents who were not ready
to raise a child
So the baby is thrown away
The baby is left in hospital
The baby is left in the orphanage
The baby is left in the streets
The baby is thrown into a pit latrine
The baby is out in the cold.

The baby grows without knowing
his or her biological parents
The baby grows up in the streets
The baby grows up in the orphanage
If lucky the, baby is raised by foster parents
But the baby grows up with a cold heart
Because he or she was thrown out in the cold.

Dear Qiniso, you have painted a true picture of present society which is heartrending and brutal. The last lines are much impressive.Let it be quoted here... If lucky the, baby is raised by foster parents But the baby grows up with a cold heart Because he or she was thrown out in the cold. Thanks for trying to bring humanity in the present society.
