Outcast Poem by Akham Nilabirdhwaja Singh

Outcast

Rating: 5.0

A flesh fly was out casted
by his tribe
for he was seen perched
on the brim of a dish
containing night soil.

But they are seen
in large numbers
in our stinking, dirty
and decaying environment
infecting the wounds
left untreated.

The analogy is a petty thief if caught is treated as untouchable by the thieves who are not yet caught and living prestigious lives and in a corrupt society many thieves flock to steal from the corrupt offices like flesh flies perch on wounds and stinky garbage etc.The poem reflects the atmosphere of the society he lives..
